View Full Version : 3D Studio Max Camera in Nuke 4.6 OSX

Hi all, I am trying to find a way to import a MAX camera into the OSX version of NUKE 4.6. Anyone knows how?
I have the importer for MAYA, but MAX I have no clue how to make it happen.

You can refer to "export_chan_file.tcl" in the plugins directory for the format of a chan file you can import into the nuke camera node.

Now you just need to write a 3DSMax camera exporter! :)
EDIT: If you've got access to Maya, you can export your 3DSMax camera to Maya and then from Maya to Nuke using this script (http://fxshare.com/nuke/downloads/tools/3d_converters/Maya-Import-export-chan-4320.html).
