I have not had time to update my site, nor my reel (it is about a year old).
I am currently in the process of overhauling my whole site and updating my reel.
Please keep in mind I am a compositor not a web designer or graphic designer. :)
Also the compression may be a little weird, this was posted before I knew proper web compression.

My first question:
Why is there no motion blur on the plane? It gets an unnatural look without it....

Thanks for your reply.
That shot in itself has several compositing problems. It was put on there more to show matchmoving.
I have some projects in the works that will hopefully replace that shot.

the dj and the spider are my favourite bits, I think the boulder dropping into the ocean looks quite fake.

I never liked that one either. In fact the reason I don't like it is because everyone thinks it's a boulder.
It is actually a potato. I was working on a short loosely based off of the children's book Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, where giant food items rain down from the sky.
I put it on my reel to be something different. In fact, when I flew in for my interview, the first thing the co-founder of the company I now work for said was, "Love the giant potatoes."
I have better stuff now, but have not had the time to update. Due to work and health issues.
I will be sure to post a new reel as soon as I finish the cut.
Thanks again for all your feedback.
