VFX DEMO REEL:
My name is Thomas Chau, and I am a Visual Effects Artist. I am a recent graduate from Vancouver Film School in the Visual Effects department. I am born in Montreal, Quebec, and I grew up in Vancouver. I specialize in Lighting & Rendering and Integration of 3D objects into a live shot. I can also rotoscope, colour correct, track, create basic particleevents, and basic mattes. I've always enjoyed making flash for Newgrounds as a hobby before I was interested in 3D. I enjoyed the fact that I was able to create a story visually instead of writing it. I decided to enter the artistic world of 3D to see how I can improve my flash by adding CG elements to it; the more I learned about 3D the more I realized that it can potentially become a powerful toolset in time and in production value.

The purpose of demo is to demonstrate that you know the skills to get the job done. Yours though I thought it was well done doesn't demonstrate beyond the basic principles of any of the crafts that you used to make it. While I think its a good start I think you need more variety showing different skill sets of a compositor.
