Well, there is a problem with NUKE (or with my understanding of NUKE's ideology). I can't match film grain with the Film Grain Simulation node. Every time I apply grain, for example to the black constant, I end up with a grain color slightly different from my footage grain color... Well don't know how to explain it right. Black color of my constant behind the grain looks not black actually, it's a bit brighter. But in my footage material I have a perfectly black color (well, it seems like black anyway, maybe not so perfect, but definitely darker than my constant color)...
P.S. right now I do all my match grain operations with the help of After Effects software. Not really an easiest way, but with the "match grain" filter it works fine.
But I'm not really sure, lots of people working with NUKE, and I guess they're not have all that problems with the film grain matching?... Help please.
