Hi all, i want to use z-depth from .exr file (rendered from max and has z-depth channle)
1. How can i import camera from .exr
2. How can i sent any picture to .exr files z-depth.
3. I love nuke ! Pls don't write shirtly,

You can't import a camera from an OpenEXR file, maybe you mean map the z-depth to a channel instead? Unlike other applications you don't have to map a non-RGB channel when using an OpenEXR image, all channels are preserved when you import an OpenEXR image.
I don't quit follow you with your second question, can you please be more specific?

i have 2 picture, 1. .tga file arboreal and 2. .exr file rendered in max (openexr)
i want to sent my first image .tga file to second image .exr files z-depth.
in combustion it's easy, when i import camera and use z transform, image go to z-depth. how can i do this in nuke ?

I guess he means setting z-channel manually to something else. In Fusion this would be with channel booleans, no idea about Nuke.

Add color/channel booleans tool. Pipe your images to it (the one to copy from as foreground and the one to copy to as background). Go to aux channels and check "enable extra channels". Then you just select the channel you want to copy to background images z-buffer from the drop-down list. That's it.

Thats exactly what I told hin on ICQ three (!) weeks ago. :rolleyes: But I guess there is somekind of language barrier here. :)
As I said on ICQ, look in the manual on the copy-node. Or just hover with yout mouse over the "?" in the copy node itself...
how about using a Copy node to copy your tga channel(s) into the exr stream!?
