So the company I work at just upgraded to CS3. I was playing around with the Vanishing point tool in photoshop, but when I go to click the export to .vpe so I can bring it into AE, I have no export options. All I have is Show Edges, Show Measurements, and Render Grids in Photoshop.

Nevermind. The IT guy here told me it was CS3 Extended, and it's not. You have to have the extended version to be able to export to vpe for 3d in AE.
Sorry to waste forum space.

There's enough space to waste for us all. =) Just want to give a little tip. fxguide talks and shows that vanishingpoint export in one of the fxguide tv episodes. Take a look at fxguide.com. =)

I was actually watching it while playing with the vanishing point.
Those podcasts are awesome, I highly recommend those and The Mill's podcast.
I am going to ask the IT if he can hook my station up with the extended version. We do alot of architectural stills with pans and zooms for some of out movies, and to be able to translate a 2d image to 3d AE would make those shots so much better!

Yeah, it's also great in combination with a matchmover for cleaning plates from microphones and props
