Invid Media Unveils Foundation 3D
Site Focuses on Providing Professional Training and Networking for CG Artists
Boise, Idaho, December 1, 2007
Invid Media Productions, LLC announces the launch of
Foundation 3D (www.foundation3d.com), a new website dedicated to
providing the best available channels for 3D and visual effects
artists in the Entertainment, Arts, Advertising, Games and
Interactive Media industries to improve themselves and their
skills both personally and professionally.
Foundation 3D evolved from the former LightWave Group website,
which provided a massive wealth of training and information for CG artists.
That passion and experience has now transitioned into the broader
range of digital art regardless of platform or package. The site is managed
by Computer Graphics professionals Robert McKain and Bill Simon.
"In today’s environment and with many applications being so much more
affordable than they were in the past, a good share of our members have
integrated other applications into their workflow," said Robert, CEO of Invid Media,
"That, along with the idea that we wanted to be more pipeline-oriented
prompted us to step back and take a bigger look at what started out to
be an upgrade to LWG."
