Whats is the best way to delete tracker points that are on a green screen
i saw a way in combustion to use paint in the color of the green screen and then use the tracking data to move that paint around
Is masking around the points the best way?

You can use Front Source. It's similar to Combustion's Filled Polygon tool in paint.

Thanx for the reply
can you explain abit more about this option im new here
i know its in action where you add front source but not sure how to use it
thank you

I'm not in front of a flame right now, and it's been a while since I touched flame2007, but from what I remember:

1. Add another layer to Action in Batch
2. Add Image (the schematic view where you see axis>image)
3. Add Front Source, I believe it's in the same pulldown tab as Image
4. You should be able to add a tracker the front source (tracker>axis>front source)
5. Tracker the tracker marker
5. Offset the axis attached to that front source to the desired clone area and voila!

Sometimes you add a front source, but it accidently becomes a matte source. You should be able to swap it out for a front source easily.

If I am missing some steps or it's unclear, please you flame gods chime in.

I tried that
you cant add tracker to the front source but you acn add axis below the front source
but im not sure its the right way to do it
what i usually do is in the key i use mask around the tracker and to the side of it and then i just move the axis of that layer to cover the tracker
i can also track the mask in the key
so what gives me the front source?
maybe im not doing it right or maybe its not a better way?
what do you think?

oops, I forgot. On that layer in Action, add a gmask to the matte channel. Open that gmask into the gmask schematic and draw a gmask around your tracking marker. Use that axis to that gmask. Offset the axis of the front source to move the inside footage to the desire area.

Make sure the front source layer is at the most bottom layer in your layer order (where the new layers are added)

That should work.

can you explain it this way?
background layer- background movie
Layer 1-the movie with mask around the tracker???
press layer 1 and add source and then move the axis of the front source?
it looks like this? front source
!
axis (i move this axis or add another one?)
!
layer 1
thanx

Layer 1-the movie with mask around the tracker
press layer 1 and add image
press layer 1 and add source
move the axis of the front source

it should look like this:

axis (don't move this one, this will move the transformation of your entire layer 1)
!
layer 1

next to it:

axis (move this one)
!
front source

Sorry, I'm not in front of a flame right now.

You cant add axis on top of the front source only between the front source and its axis

You shouldn't have to add another axis to the front source. When you add front source, it should have automatically attached an axis to it, just like when you add image, it automatically adds an axis to that.

You should be able to move the values on the existing axis attached to the front source.

I didnt meant to add another front source i said you can"t add axis on top of the front source only between the front source and the image
ok after you add the front source
which axis you track?
the axis with the mask? or the front source axis?
thanx

Sorry got confused. Yes, you track the axis from your gmask in the gmask schematic.

The axis that is attached to your front source = offset in combustion, only use this to clone from the surrounding area.

4. You should be able to add a tracker the front source (tracker>axis>front source)
5. Tracker the tracker marker
5. Offset the axis attached to that front source to the desired clone area and voila!

You won't need to track the axis in the front source, just offset it enough that the marker is covered by some nearby green screen.

Yes, jimbullard is correct. The axis attached to the front source is just to offset enough to cover the marker.

If camera is moving and you need to track the marker, you track the axis that is attached to the gmask (tracker>axis>geo, not tracker>axis>front source). Sorry for the confusion.
