Hi All,

We no longer need our brand new render farm we purchased a few months ago (big project ended), so if anyone is interested, please contact me at the email/phone number listed below.

These really rip through renders for Maya, AE, or anything else you can throw at it. We had a project that we needed to render hi detail 3d maya sequences. 2 Mac Pros would have taken about 4 days to render out the timeline, this did it in about 10 hours. The processing power is about as equal to 5 tricked out Mac Pros.

Here are the specs for each node (There are 4 nodes in the farm):
DUAL XEON E5420 2.50GHz (Quad−Core), 12MB cache, 1333 MHz FSB
4GB FBDIMM DDR2 800 REG ECC
80GB 7200rpm Module System Drive (2 x 80GB SATA)
Module System O/S Windows XP x64 Professional Edition ( x 2 )
Up to 32GB DDR2 800 SDRAM Fully Buffered DIMM (FB−DIMM)
Intel (ESB2/Gigabit) 82563EB Dual−port Gigabit Ethernet Controller
2 x SATA 3.0Gbps Ports via ESB2 Controller
(x16) Gen 2 PCI−Express
ATI ES1000 Graphics with 32MB video memory
SIMSO IPMI 2.0 (Intelligent Platform Management Interface v.2.0, v.1.5)
Module Physical
BOXX 3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

We're asking 7k for the entire farm, we paid close to 14k when it was brand new! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Zenerry - the machines are in 2 enclosures (each enclosure houses 2 computers) - and we'd like to sell them as a pair. We are located in Washington DC, and would be willing to ship outside the US if there is an interested buyer. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi again Dave,
It is 8x2.5ghz core, isn't it?

Maybe i'll be interested in one of them, but i think shipping it to spain will be too expesinve isn't it?
I can offer 1000€, due to the small HD drive, and it depends on shipping...

Thanks!

By 4 nodes do you mean 4 xeon procs...that is 2 dual xeon machines or are we talking 4 systems with dual xeon configurations....that is 8 xeon procs?

4 nodes would mean 32 total procs across 8 chips.
