Hello!

The upcoming month I am going to create a music video, I plan to start it with a ariel overview over a city. The camera will then tilt slowly down to the ground where we are introduced to the first person.

I am planning to take photos of bildings in the city where the action is taking place. Then project them onto rough models created in maya. This will be projected inside fusion.

Much simular to this:

Then my question is: How will I proceed creating this?

Should I take pictures from different angles and create a matte painting i PS and then try to split it up and project in fusion?
Or, should I take pictures of buildings and then start projecting them right in fusion and create the matte painting there.?
And should I take the pictures so i can see two sides of the building and project it with a perspective camera, or should I take photos of every side and then project it orthographic to create each side of the house, wouldn't this create som ugly corners?

Would there by any reason to take HDR images? Or would it be sufficient with ordynary jpg or raw exposed right?

As you might understand I have lot of questions when it comes to matte paintings and projection. Thanks!
