Beautiful stuff here. Some truly real-looking scenes.

Anyone spot the use of 3dsmax here! Who'd have thought it :)

I have to applaud the VFX team that worked on 2012. You turned a mediocre plot into something that held together and was actually mildly enjoyable to watch. The effort that went into that film must have caused many, many, sleepless nights.
So If you had a hand in the making of this film, stand up and take a bow, we applaud you.

P.S. I wish flying a twin engine Piper was really that much fun.

Just a question i donīt know how much you can talk,i guess not much,itīs 3dsmax used with a cebas plugin to destroy buildings?

I was hoping cebas was developing a Maya version

while i did work on it at pixomondo i only have 2 antonov shots, nothing spectacular. i heard that cebas has thinking particles and final render that are really really hollywood proven now ;)

The movie looks awesome, I'll probably see it later today. Can't wait to see the Yellowstone eruption on the big screen :)

i wonder why did it took so long; i think the showcase was due last year. i was also part of pixomondo (LA)and we were actually accomplishing the previzs. i used Tp 3, FFx, Rayfire and particle flow for dust, cracks and debris.
