View Full Version : Nuke community...

As you may have heard, Throb's Nuke site (http://nuke.throb.net/) was recently hacked, and the entire database was wiped...

This means that, I believe, this forum is the only Nuke-specific forum left... (I couldn't find any others, anyway...)

Anyway, it would be good to see some Nuke people getting involved over here - I hope we'll be able to provide a place for good Nuke discussion...

If there's anything you'd like to see over here, do let us know

Hear Hear...everyones more than welcome.

edit: At the moment the only other forum I can think of is the one over at fxguide. Its pretty decent from time to time.

Yupp, fxguide has a forum but it is a bit.. well.. a thread every now and then in 2 months poke:
So I am very interesed in seeing some Nuke comments, tuts or guides or whatever someone can find.
So Reezo will stay here, hiding in the shadows, waiting for posters.
Feel home,
Reezo

hey throb - my commiserations......

I'm gonna go through our backup systems with a fine-tooth comb this weekend to make sure it doesn't happen to us..... (or at least, if it does, we can get back online quickly...)

heya rob,

good to see you here !! i think our line of websites have been paid a little more attention by the scum of the net...3dtotal was totally rooted the other week and cgtalk has also been hacked recently ... makes you wonder why these retards attack community orientated websites that do good for all involved. Ive said it before, but I reckon their best bet is to use the skills they have to do some good too...not just piss people off. Anyways, just let us know if we can adopt any of the cool stuff you had going on over at nuke, throb and we;ll do everything we can to accomodate :)

cheers

maybe paul and hugh did all that hacking to ensure that vfxtalk is the biggest and best vfx-community in the web ;) and gain more members over here

you just need to request a demo.
a public demo version is something we're working on, but of course workflow features and bugfixes take center stage :)

cool...I have spoke to you before about this...but to make the most of my demo time, i really want to grab it when i have some free time...which is scarce at the moment ...but Im hoping to have a crack at it very soon...offcourse, I can also ask other mods to see if they would like to give it a good demo'ing ...

cheers
