View Full Version : Need script: final cut to nuke

hi
i work on it since several month and... no way, i don't find how to export xml from final cut and load them in nuke.
it's certainly possible, i've see some people have working on it to on the forum.

please can someone know how to do this ?
i work on my own movie and... damn 582 shot to send to nuke !

i work too with filemaker pro maybe it's easier to send xml from filemaker than fcp one... i don't know...

For a simple edit you can just use the append clip node to build a quick edit to duplicate the tree. Also Nuke reads edl files, though I haven't used it before.

Also a nice thread with a python script for importing an edl.

not compatibily with filemaker as xml have but that a good stuff thanks ;)

Right but there isn't such thing as a fcp xml reader for Nuke out there yet. So I'm giving you other options to cope. :)
