Hello!
I have an effect that I need to figure out how to do. I have often realized that when I spend a million years trying to build an effect myself, a lot of times I find out later that there is an "easy" way to do it...
The effect:
I need a short text title with a transparent background to explode into a flock of birds and fly away (very vague wispy birds, not detailed at all)... I have the title in any form I need it and I have been provided footage of the birds on a light blue sky that I need to have the title turn into...think of Madonna's Frozen video where she falls to the ground in her black cape and explodes into ravens. BEAUTIFUL! Any idea how it is done? I am thinking I would start with the title vector, shatter it into pieces in After Effects, morph each piece into a bird in a morphing program and then follow through with the end of the footage clip with a fade out after they are out of frame - Any creative geniuses out there with any suggestions???
