How I can creating lights interact with my footage ?

Example, one guy hold something in your hands and this is a source of light, how I can project the lights on his body ?

At 1m 12s can explain better what I talk about.

Thank you.

as far as i see, the said effect is not the most complicated.. i see this being done in a few ways

1) use the same light emitting layer, make is bigger, blur it, add some glow to it and maybe plus or screen it over the talent layer

2) use the light emitting source as a mask and color input to a glow/lighting layer.

3) a 3d approch would be again, to use a projection system on a card while animating a light using some form of expression.

there are some really good stuff on videocopilot... its not for nuke but can understand the technicality of it and adopt it for nuke.

to create the virtual light source try:

http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/energy/

to cast light on your subjects body, see how it's done for a muzzle flas here:

This tutorial in after effects is exactly what I want, But it's hard to do in Nuke.

In this video at 1m12s lights move in subject, changes, completely interact.
Like a projection of animation in subject, with a blend mode in multiply or something like that.
