This is my first post here at VFX talk. This is a screen grab from my combustion work space.
The sequence is full 3D rendered to rpf's. I am just looking for pointers and c&c really.

Well without looking at the original renders it's difficult to offer some constructive crits. I think the car and the grass looks great, but I find the lack of focus disturbing. (That's almost a Star Wars quote right there) The defocus makes it look as if you're viewing a miniature.

I'd recomend smothing out your depth of field. it seems really harsh right now, and that I think is what makes it look like a minature. The blue seems very saturated, but then again so does the red. it's funny the red doesn't bug me but the blue competes alot espcially the blue in the bg part on the left. Being as blue there as it is in the fg prtions destroys it's sense of depth. My eye is really overwhelmed by the large mass of grey in the upper half. The modeling of the car is amazing. very well put together.
