I am a little stuck with painting lights in to the windows from the challenge
I tried the dodge tool with no luck .... please give me ideas how to do this
Do I have to select all the windows I want light > cut and paste the selection to a new layer > and then paint the lights

You could try doing it the way I did it (although I did it in Digital Fusion rather than Photoshop)
Make a copy of your original image, and adjust the histogram, so that everything lighter than almost black goes to black, and every thing darker gets lighter (if that made sense)
This should leave you with light patches where the windows are (and other dark areas) - then just erase areas that you don't want, leaving the windows (and colour correct, to make them the colour you want) - do some kind of luma key (use screen mode for the layer) to overlay this over the top of your image...

If you're doing it in Photoshop, use the 'Erase' tool to make the areas transparent..... (You may want to overlay the lights layer over the original image first...)

Wow, what an innovative way to do it.
I simply went right into painting the windows the color I wanted, but that can become VERY time consuming.
I think I'll just keep the version I want, but this proves the great wealth of information that is just spilling out of this forum every day.
