I think I posted on the wrong section of the forums before so here it goes.

How would you go about setting tracking marks for a blue screen circular close up shot?
The shot starts over the actress' shoulder and then spins around her and ends on a medium close up.
Would marks on the screen and immediately behind the actress work or would there need to be marks in front of her too in order to matchmove the shot?

Thanks.

I think it will work(would be better to see the shot), but if the actress is moving while the cam is moving, you'll need to exclude her from the track by creating a garbage mask. Every matchmoving software can do that.

...you will have to use manual markers (software doesnīt matter really) so that the software knows itīs the same feature when re-appearing behind the actress.

problem with green/bluescreen and close up shots is that you will probably not have enough paralax for a good solve.

try to solve the part at the end first and extend into the closup.

chipsize and folcal length i assume you know? if not...good luck!

cheers
