Hey you are FAST!!
I like the thing that your painting doesn't try to represent something beautiful moment. No sun set , no cool clouds etc.. It's just a ordinary day in Brazil..or somewhere?
Did you used other photos than that plate? Trees look very good! :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google: :google:

I dont ever try to represent something to extreme in my paintings most of the time i attempt to be as relistic as possible but with a sense of style that isnt totaly realistic for this painting i wanted to take it farther from the orginal plate and make it a bit more fantasy in a realistic sense...an ordianary place that can exist but no one knows where it is.
Yes i used other photos some of my own some off the internet and painted on and also the sky is hand painted.

The Plate was shot at Split rock minneasota actually, close to duluth the lake in question is lake superior which is nearly the size of and ocean.
