The short answer: no, it's not possible. Although (and that's the long answer) almost anything is possible in DF. But i think it would take a lot of thinking and building expressions and linking stuff to each other, something I could never pull off, unfortunately.

i`n kinda vary new to DF. thought i already use shake. and have scripting an some programing knowledge i was thinking in building a script that allow this. thought i`n not sure how . i`n digging into it right now. checking the dfscript manual ^^ but if anyone could troguth some more light it would be real nice

hmm i gonna take a look at expression es-diar. but if script works like in shake it would be nice to have a node doing the work instead of having to make expression

This is possible in DF, however the work involved sometimes outweighs the decision to stay in DF. I had to create a "rig" to animate a cheetah's leg that was too fast, and needed to be slowed down.

I can't recall all the math from the top of my head, but it was fairly complex just to get a 3 or 4 joint chain to work. Not being a math major doesn't help much either. I'll see if I can try something at home later in the week, and get something posted.

In the meantime, wait for FU5, or do it in combustion ;)
