Sweet.......Mine's on the way too! Managed save some money for this! But I guess we will have to keep a copy of 4.04e as the .flw comps are not compatible with fusion5. :(

"A bug was found this morning in the officially released version of Fusion 5.00. It seems that viewing any mask tool in the displays will provoke a crash. Rendering the tool is fine, it is viewing that causes the problem. The bad news is, I consider this to be a show stopper bug. I am removing the electronic download link until we can provide a fix.

The good news is we found it before any physical shipments went out, and it looks like we can fix it within the next few hours. At the very latest we will be delayed by a single day and the new build will be available this time tomorrow. With any luck, I will have the build with the fix available later tonight.

Everyone who has downloaded Fusion 5 so far will be sent an email as soon as the 'new and improved' Fusion 5 is available for download.

Obviously, this is not the way such things should go - and one would think that beta testing and release candidates would catch such errors before release. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of allowing a tiny change to the software at the last minute, entirely confident that it would affect nothing.

I was wrong. I apologize for the delay, and beg your patience while we correct the matter. --------------------

Ouch but hey at least they fix the bugs unlike others that wait for a .5 release

I am pleased to announce that the problem with masks has been solved and
the electronic downloads are available again. Those who have placed
orders over the past three days should see emails over the next 24
hours.

The new version is still labeled Fusion 5.00, but the build number is
304 rather than 301. If you previously downloaded Fusion 5.00 Build 301
you may use the same link you received previously to download build 304
now.

Thank you for your patience.

Thanks
