Combustion HW configuration

Hi,

I'm just starting my way with C & I'm building/upgrading my current machine so I can learn the app for the next few months.

My thinking was to upgrade my current P4 2.66 to 3GB RAM, RAID0 SATA & a hacked GeForce6800 & use it for the coming months till I'll invest in a real workstation.

My question is. Will I get reasonable interactivity with this config, or do I have to have a stronger machine right from the beginning.

this is enough to get you started
its just a matter of the size of the comp you are going to do
im using a 2.4 3 gig ram and a 6200 and its alright
your not going to real reatime feed back at all but it should handle small comps ok.
