Hey All!
I have a question. I have an iMac G5 with Virtual PC. Would XSI run under this OK? Thanks!

same goes for xsi...
while there is a slight possability that it might run under emulation it will be VERY SLOW so slow that you probably wouldnt want to even try... even if you had a intel based mac you could use something like parallels desktop however even there you will have major issues with opengl support which is crucial
unlike 3ds max, xsi will run on both windows and linux but thats x86 linux so while you can install linux on your box it would be powerpc and it wont run on a powerpc based linux...
i would definatly look into using maya

I agree with Jah. Either go with a Mac based app like Maya, Cinema 4D, LightWave or Modo or buy a Windows/Linux PC ;)
It's sad that Mac users can't taste what XSI has to offer, in my opinion it's the best 3D workflow I've ever used.
