rendering from AE to FCP 16:9 ratio _need help!

Hello,

I'm trying to render an AE file using these guidelines from my client:

anamorphic NTSC 16:19 full screen

When I render this and my client drops it in FCP it looks stretched.

I'd love any help anyone can suggest!

Hi there,

did you try to enable the 'stretch' function in your 'output module settings'?
Change the default settings from custom to ntsc widescreen (pixel aspect 2)

perhaps that'll work

Hi,
in FCP you won´t see the 16:9 format until you enable the anamorphic option into the file properties. You can do it in the gallery where your clip is.

Or right-click the squished clip on the timeline, Remove Attributes> Distort
