frech noir short film..

i am currently in the pre production process of producing a short arthouse style film.
the main concept of the film is jealousy, it portarys a mans quest so to speak on the revenge of beauty and the people assosiated with this.
the film will be around seven minutes long with the dialogue in french. the reason i am choosing to do this is as the french accent come across as very agressive to me. the film will be very graphic and i am aimed to shock aswel as to keep th eviews hooked with an intresting storyline
i am determined to run with this idea although i am slightly concerned that there is somthing missing and that there could be somthing that could make it better.

what would you expect to see in this style of film? all suggestions would be greatly apreciated.

I'd expect dramatic lighting, suggested violence/graphic scenes (can have more of an impact) and of course believable french. None of that well-written, french class stuff. You need fluant, street lingo to make this as hard boiled as it sounds.
