I have a little issue working with proxies since this is the first time I'm going for them.
I have .r3d files from the Red Epic and I converted my files into jpg sequences to have somthing more ram friendly to work with. So in my read node i load in my .r3d file and in the proxy slot I load in the according jpg sequence.
I tried every possible constelation of the settings in the read node and the project settings, either way Nuke doesn't seem to use the proxies. I assum that because when i toggle proxy mode on (now it should read the jpg sequence) and hover over my viewer, in the lower right corner it still shows me values above 1 which should actually be impossible since jpg doesn't support values higher then 1. So I assum that it, even in proxy mode, reads the r3d file.
In addition to that it doesn't feel significantly faster or so.

As I mentioned above, this is my first time using proxies. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, Id like to use a particle expression node to set the velocity of all particles to straight up in the y.
If I input y=1 into the velocity tab I get what I want visually, but also get an error that i cant tell if its contributing to other bugs so id rather get this part right.

Is there a proper nomenclature to use to set the 3 axis indepndently? If i just input the number 1 I get a 1 in each channels velocity with no error.

I also tried (0,1,0) and some other random guesses to no avail. Hope someone can help

thanks.
