Add Motion Blur to Beziers - November 17th, 2009, 01:36 PM

I was waching this video on youtube and saw that there is actually a way to add motion blur to animated beziers! I did not however manage to achieve it... Perhaps a more advanced nuker can show me the way.. I'm coming from fusion where all you had to do to motion blur a mask was enable its motion blur

Take a look at min 5:30 onwards..

In the video he seems to use a combination of vector blur and motionblur2D (can't see the tree).
The standard way is adding a timeblur after the bezier.

He has a tracker for the bezier and uses the tracker for the motionblur2D.
The moblur2D outputs the motion blur for the vector blur (i think in the uv channels, i'm not sure...check the manual to be sure)

that's correct. bezier transform -> 2dmoblur -> uv channels -> vector blur.

adjust the shutter in the 2dmoblur node for amount of blur.

There's a way to do this if you have a 3D tracked camera, let's say out of PFTrack:
