New, faster delivery servers and researched compression techniques have made the cmiPlayer system a mandatory staple in video training for a new next generation training movement.

Product Announcements — Phase 1 (out of 5) of the cmiVFX online training system initiative
A new era of Visual Effect Training is upon us, with the new cmiVFX Online High Definition Training Video On Demand System. This system represents a revolution in modern day media based industry specific training. The cmiVFX solution now allows any individual with a computer to register a free user account to watch a variety of industry specific software training videos from a variety of cmiVFX training solutions as well as 3rd party training solutions. Using this feature rich tool, allows the system to eliminate large format, media disk based training solutions (AKA DVD-R, HD-DVD and Blue-RAY), as well as removing any and all international tax, tariff and shipping costs. Often the costs for shipping, tax, and tariffs will end up costing as much as the products initially purchased. WELL NOT ANY MORE!
NOTE: All videos and accounts are permanent. Upgrade packages to newer videos will be an option to previous purchasers of the legacy products. Current DVD product owners can upgrade their accounts to the TVOD system based on the titles they own (Price subject to volume).

Workflow Methodology
By creating our own unique TVOD © player system, we can control the quality and learning environment for individuals and universities based on our back end customer account log in system. This very system can allow 3rd party vendors to host and sell industry related training videos directly from the same system. With a crisp, clean, functional user interface, users can experience quick and easy access to the information from any workstation by simply opening a web browser.

Functionality
The cmiPlayer © allows the users to experience the true feeling of a standard computer based video player/editor while still using web based technology. The speed and functionality of the Graphic User Interface was researched based on the Visual Effect industry. Typical tools and hot keys for the "Video Editing Standard" are implemented in this system. Free Video Training
As always, cmiVFX offers a variety of an ever growing collection of free training videos and materials. We now offer these free materials inside of the new TVOD © system, so that users can see both paid and free training via channels in the menu system. You will never need leave the system to change products. All products are categorized into the parent topic of which it was purchased.

Custom Based 3rd Party CBT
All 3rd party vendors can create a custom channel for their own software videos to be hosted in this new community video system. Agreements based on volume and other characteristics of a vendors training are subject preset limits given to 3rd party vendor accounts.
