Hi not to sure if this is the right place to post this, if it isn't please say. Anyway
I'm slightly confused about the formats of video files.
Any body please tell me about the difference between these formats.

.Avi
.Mpeg 1 VCD
.Mpeg 2 DVD
.Mpeg 4
.3gp
.Vob
pal Mpeg 2 Generic

Its quite a lot to explain by one person so ask wikipedia

PAL and NTSC are broadcast standards not be consufed with file formats.

Lastly SD and HD are associated with video resolutions.
