For triangulating an object, select the polygonal geometry-Go to polygon tab menu-select Mesh drop down menu- triangulate.An object exported from maya will not be accepted by rf unless :-
It triangulated,
Has .sd or .obj ext,
Also try and export non-smooth geometry to RF.
U cant triangulate a nurbs geometry, in case ur model is nurbs so first convert it to polygon and then triangulate the object, Modify- Convert- Nurbs to Polygons.
And to export an animated object from maya to rf u need to select .sd extension in export options in maya,
U can also export as .obj for stationary objects.
