
POSITION: Production Manager/Production Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY
Rhythm & Hues is hiring Production Managers to support the Visual Effects Producers. This critical role is responsible for assisting the Producer in all financial aspects of the show.
The Production Manager will have exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Visual Effects production or financial experience is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Assist Producer in bidding visual effects work.
§ Track show costs, EFC’s.
§ Approve timecards, purchase orders, invoicing.
§ Prepare financial presentations and reports.
§ Uses multiple technical applications including excel, word processing, proprietary database, spreadsheets, email, and other technical applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
§ Solid working knowledge of excel. Excel performance test administered in interview process.
§ Accounting or Bidding background.
§ Two plus years related experience with proven office administration skills.
§ Visual Effects industry experience.
DESIRED SKILLS /EXPERIENCE
§ Excellent oral communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
§ Strong writing skills including proper use of spelling, grammar, and proofreading.
§ Strong problem solving skills.
§ Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
§ Ability to work with a variety of projects with multiple deadlines.
§ Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
