Section of my Master Thesis research on fluids ... - September 1st, 2009, 08:29 PM

For now my research on fluids simulations for production led me to these results as you can see:

Any help / input would be welcome and very important to me.
Thanks to all.

Strange don´t know how the link was wrong.
My master thesis is about fluid simulations on a production.
I´m just in the research stage.

posting the same thing in multiple forums and bumping is not necessary. We are a pretty tight community and people will comment just posting once.

It´s not an observation that I need.
They are where they should be.
I´m asking for some help but at the same time I´m providing info.
The research will be in construction a long time and I´m gathering what I can´t for me but also for everyone else to see.
I think is a positive thing to do because there´s a lot of disperse information about fluids on the web, I´m just gathering what I think is important.

You should talk to Thiago Costa, he has been doing a lot in that regard lately with his ICE_SPH for XSI.

I also report all the spam I see. I care about this forum and the people that run it have to pay for every bit of bandwidth, so when you double post it may seem like nothing to you but it wastes bandwidth. And when you bump it moves you to the top of the most recent posts for no reason. I check the most recents to actually see what is going on...if its just the OP bumping it wastes time. Also imagine if everyone posted what they wanted everyone to see in every forum here....the most recent section would be rendered useless with 10 versions of the same thing over and over.

And the the OP, I'm not saying what you are working on is wrong in any way...just don't spam the forum. One thread per thought. Simple.

I mean, I guess I see your point. But you just automatically assume that its a bump without knowing the situation.
Last night I went to follow the original link, and it did not work. The second link he posted is DIFFERENT and actually works...

I dont understand how that is a bump when you are FIXING a link for people.

That's why there is an edit button...no need to post again when you can edit your OP, it is simply to bump if you are posting something that should have been an edit.

Anyway, not meaning to derail the thread! Should probably get back on topic!

Gentel Fury I have to thank you because you have helped me in a recent past but this error happened in other forums and no one complained.
I hope the next time you decide to comment anything would be with USEFUL information because this is an important work to me and I INTEND TO SHARE my researches on fluids with everyone and to learn something in return.

I´ll add another heading to the blog "BOOKS":
This one was provided in the unofficial Realflow-Forum: http://www.akpeters.com/product.asp?ProdCode=3260 - FLUID SIMULATION FOR COMPUTER GRAPHICS

Cheers
