A question about camera projection

Is it possible to project a texture through a camera so that it affects only polygons facing that camera? I need it to render out the projected texture in UV space to get an indication of what parts of uv map will be visible in the frame. Or is there any other way to do it?

Vray Specular Render Element

Is there any way to determine what is going to show up in the specular render element? I thought that anything with glossy reflections set lower than 1.0 would be considered specular. That doesnt seem to be the case. If i misunderstood, is there a way to get blurry reflections on their own...
