Hi Jason,
Sorry to isturb you in this way, but I need to talk with someone professional to let my ideas be more clear.
I am building my career in 3d/vfx as TD and I want to understand how hard is for a young but talented person (like me I guess.. ) to hope to be hired from a big company such as pixar, dreamworks, and so on.
I have about 1 year of experience in production because I have graduated the last december (M.Sc software engineering), but I 'play' on 3d from 5-6 years now and I can do pretty advanced things.
I am at the point in my life where I must choose from a stable position in software engineering or that dream job in a big vfx/animation company.
Now I am working hard on my reel and I want to ask you: is it enough a stunning reel to hope to be hired or do I need some years of experience in production?
