Hi I think that will be easier if you show us your scene or just some screenshots. actually my gizmo isn't really finish. there is two part in. the first is like MT_relight but with 3D function It's usefull for object 3D relighting but as people said in the forum, you can't create a real shadow in nuke... The second is for create a shadow from nuke 3D space but it's not like maya can do it... I tried to finish my tool in maybe 2 weeks, be patient Best regards
Menthor. Your 3d shadows sounds like the exact gizmo i am needing, i would love to use it in my master class and i know that you would get a lot of exposure from the whole Uni that i need to do my exam for. Any advice on how to get these darn shadows working in 3d space would be greatly appreciated...i just dont know if i am missing something here or being stupid. I am basically learning Nuke on the fly as i go along but have been in the 3d world for 3 years and the broadcast industry for 8 years. The subject of achieving shadows within Nuke seems to be a scarce subject matter and proving quite testing. Many regards K.
