"Roman Harbor" breakdown, originally was posted in March 2008.
Tools: Maya, Photoshop.
Final plate size is 4170x1768 (plate require dolly in). In this project I decide to build 3D models, painted them in Photoshop, and add air and light in Photoshop.
I always was inspired by Roman Empire, collect lots of historical books about those times, fascinated moment just before battle between Octavian and Mark Antony.Roman harbours look very facinating and advanced for those times, in art history many paintings been done about Rome, ruins, Cleopatra, artist been always fascinated by those glorious times. Here is the way I see that period in our history, still work in progress.
