Noted. I took it the wrong way then. :) But perhaps also because you write English in a funny dialect if you know what I mean.
Thanks for clearing it out. But you're right it's easy to press play...
Yes I tried to squeeze as many techniques in there as was realistic for the time being to teach myself something new. You know, never let school stand in the way of your education. They are happy...
Especially the ones in the first shot, right? (outside of the bar). That's the scène I tackled first. Inside the bar is the scène I did last.
Overall better keys imo, but the scène was rushed. I...
Did you ask the same question to Sam Raimi in '81? Or to Tobe Hooper in '74? Or Herschell G. Lewis in '63?
As you can see there is no causality between where the world is going and my video clip. If...
This is the videoclip I made to graduate from art school.
There's a lot of things I'd have done differently, and some of the mistakes I'm pretty sure I fixed multiple times but apparently I kept...
I don't get it
That's a good one, thanks for mentioning it!
I usually turn everything to 3d even though I don't need it to work around it (a solution I forgot to mention here heheh), but it quickly turns bigger...
If it is, than Keylight does it for some reason. This example is from only exaggerating screen-shrink:

One problem, the white line travels with the edge of the matte when I expand/contract when premultiplied, so on second thought it's not from the blue channel white line. I am puzzled by this.
...
You are right, I can clearly see the halo that appears in my mattes on the blue channel as well! I wonder if this is an artifact from compression and YUV -> RGB conversion, or if it is from the used...
Someone please explain to me how to rid those annoying edges in keylight. A lot of people are lyric about keylight and it does a sweet job overall, but whatever I do, I keep getting light edges on...
Mac ftw while Windows is Adobe's biggest cach cow I think.
Adobe had to stick Macrovision and FLEXnet licensing bulldogs in the software for Windows together with date checks and some other stuff...
Oh it works perfectly. I ran CS3 with Win7 beta for almost a year before I bought the thing. It's just bad karma I guess.
Anyway, I fixed it.
Uninstall - Reinstall - fail
Uninstall - Reboot -...
I am so pissed off now.. I bouht Windows 7 after running beta's for almost a year. So I installed the entire suite again. I activated from Photoshop. Then Windows activation hurt my head until I set...
I need to fix some calculated positions of an object in a really badly trackable matchmoved scéne where the matchmove is not the scène itself but just an object. Adjusting the position is very...
I have a moving camera around an object obtained by tracking. I am looking for a way to translate this motion data onto the object so that the camera is static. Any ideas?
Hi,
I have a comp with motion blur settings of 64 samples per image. I have a layer with a precomp with the same settings. If I transform this precomp, motion blur is nice as it should be.
But...
Wow that plugin looks great!
I hope something similar will be invented in the open source market sometime soon. Because $500 for a single locked license? Two plugins cost as much as the entire...
Do you mean each scanline gets exposed multiple times in a rolling fashion?
Because I don't get it. If that would be so, the motion blur would be as long as the difference between the top and bottom...
Thanks.
Now if you'd render a comp and the output is only used in another comp, do you put this intermediate file in renders or project/comp?
I also use a bunch of other folders (see below) but...
Somehow for every project I seem to do it another way, and working between projects makes it very confusing to find stuff. So, I was wondering how you keep the composition part and the footage part...
I see, but how does it expose more then?
If you double the exposure time, it cannot roll twice because you'd have to see two frames overlaying each other (ghosting?) but that's not the case.
Is the rolling shutter timing static? Does it roll slower on bigger exposure times? Or does it run multiple times?
Heh, Shake is like a wonderfull animal exploited by parasites. Apple was only interested in the rendering engine for Final Cut. Shake is like $499 IF you buy a $2999 Apple. (I mean a descent...
