i think you need to add a lot more noise to your fume sim for a little more realism in the smoke,
and feather your matting a touch as the edges are a bit sharp.
my 2 c
Seems incredibly cheap seeing as digital tutors are selling there own dvds for $50.00.
could ba an illegal site.
you can add a supression operator
it's under the keying operators, here you can fine tune colours you need.
Select all of your paint strokes then nest selected layers to make a new comp out of these
then you can track all of them at one to your footage, rather than track them all seperately
you might have to check the coverage channel
then adjust this via maximum or minimum to get the proper results.
this is because you have a movie in that folder which is using h.264 compreesion
you'll have to switch to list view reather than thumbnail view.
Combustions will not let you import QT.H264 codec...
you will have to nest the paint operators then use the transform on top of that..
When you add a new particle layer you should be given the option to select which format you want it to be
e.g pal D1, ntsc, etc...
its pretty easy mate,
all you have to do is view in 2 view screen mode
in one screen double click on the top level of your composite to see every thing
in the other screen double click on your...
you could put a atill plate in place and then add a grain operator, sampling the grain from the original clip.
I have plenty of references for muzzles. E.g the shoot out scenes from the matrix.
But I have to comp in approx 500 muzzle blasts,
So rather than do this in photoshop
which is what I'll probably...
Hey all,
I'm trying to do some muzzle flashes for a short,
I can get 80% of the way there but it still looks linear
they need to have a fiery aspect / fiery turbulence to them
like in the picture...
sorry just realized what i had typed after i had posted
it would be nice though to be able to adjust beziers
Couldn't you do the roto in combustion and output the alpha only.
Then just import that to Nuke?
try here
I just set one up and a heap of idiots came on
so heres the link
this is just a test remember...
damn it all these idiots just jumped on
I will have to try to put a password on to the call
what should we use for a password?
I just tried to make on
just look up nuke on skype
Hey all,
I thought the other day to start a Nuke channel on Skype,
7pm - 11pm Sydney time. which is +10GMT I think.
Feel free to have a look...
its possible.
you could select just the white points by control clicking your channels this will
give you a luma mask you can now use for colour correction
or you could clone it out
it depends...
yeah the 3D is a bit full on, theres alot to learn still, where are you working at in Sydney?
Some of the other comps were pretty big as well.
your names not warwick is it?
Hi guys,
I just saw a demo of Nuke 5.1 which is still in beta at the moment
The new 3d stereo stuff is going to blow your mind.
The artist was running it off a laptop and it was fairly fast....
you will have to nest the selected layers to a new comp, then add your motion blur to this.
Sorry mate,
you will have to go into a 2 view-port mode and go to the mask operator level in one window while seeing the update in the other.
