The zoom function, left mouse + middle mouse, terrible to use. At least on my mouse. I use ctrl + scroll. But it would be nice if I could set zooming to something like maya.

Cool, but the first thing, is that a rocket or something? If so, I would speed it up and give it a bit turbulence. And the spaceship doesn't get affected by the shadow/light coming in from the left.
