Seriously, Chris - can you post these in the "Industry News" or "Your News" section? You're just flooding this whole section with updates that nobody cares about.
Maybe try adding back in a bit of subtle grain overtop the problem areas to break it up.
I'm running PFTrack 2011 and I'm trying to adjust the focal length. I add an Edit Camera node and can adjust it in there, and I see the 3d grid updating correctly. After I pipe that into a Geometrey...
Hey thanks for the reply. I think it was more of a network issue than a Nuke problem. It hasn't done it since. I'm not sure, but I think it may have been due to me having the networked drive mapped...
There was an update that came out the other day, that I think addressed some roto issues.Maybe try the latest update.
Yeah, I've come across the .tmp issue before, it usually happens to me when it tried to write out the first image.
This is different, if I submit to the network, it just skips over frames, if I...
Wow, a lot has happened in 10 years.
If I write out a image sequence , random frames will not be rendered. No error message or anything, anyone know what could be causing this? Nuke 6.3v8 on win 7 x64
You can run a simulation where you have your candy objects fall into the jar and fill it up.
Or you can manually fill it up by hand, I've done similar things before and it's not that bad. There's...
I don't really think Nuke is meant for that. Maybe take a look at something like Hiero?
Your 3d object has to have UV's laid out before you import it into Nuke. In the past, I've always laid out my uv's in Max, created my texture and imported both into Nuke. Nuke reads the UV's that are...
Yeah, this site went downhill pretty fast recently. There's always cgtalk.com
My suggestion would be photography and graphic design. It amazes me how many 3d artists have no design skills. Knowing how to create an image that looks good, using all the design principles is...
Can any of the owners tell us?
WOW! Can't wait to see that.
Anyone know of a way to get a .dat LUT into Nuke? I've read you can strip out the header info in .3dl's as a workaround to get them into Nuke. But there wasn't any head info in this .dat and it...
I think there are scenarios where studios are looking for generalists. But they're mostly smaller studios, the design/mograph shops that incorporate a lot of 3d into the motion graphics for example....
I think all you can hope for is that the whites aren't clipped, and there is still color information there. Then, as Invader said, best way is to isolate the problem areas and adjust exposure.
Basic knowledge of 3D isn't really software specific. If you learn the fundamentals and theory, then you can transfer it to any package. I think that's more valuable than learning which buttons to...
OK, I added a def something(): at the top and a something() at the bottom. And it worked again the first time only. Every time after that I get a syntax error at "red"
I have a little python script I wrote and it works fine when I run it from the Script Editor window inside Nuke. I saved it out as a .py and added it to my menu in the menu.py
If I run it from the...
Yeah I have no idea why they changed the new roto nodes to not show multiple shapes. VERY annoying.
OBJ sequences keep the animation of the geo, plus looks likes the animated UV map comes over too. BUT the position in world space is completely wrong. Anyone got some tips making geometry sequences...
I have an object that was created in Max, the geo and the UVW unwrap are both animated. The geo imports into Nuke fine with the animation, but the uvw map doesn't keep the animation, it just stays on...
