No way to re-assign those keys via custom config files in Nuke.
The bug was that you probably switched from the main Bezier tab to the Tracker, Color or node tabs. To access the vertexes and change the bezier you need to be with the Bezier tab focused.
You can't.
Unless you do something intermediary to trigger/set those dropdowns. And this probably won't work for channel dropdowns and the likes.
As Hugh pointed out you'll need to "generate" bake, any expression curve to vertexes prior to filtering them.
