Framestore were using it as a de-grain tool when i was last there. (neat video plug-in). Not aware of anywhere in London that use it as a main tool
of course there are Maya jobs. Most things i composite come from a Maya artist
that all just looks like old fxphd work. You need to go and find some independent stuff to work on otherwise it will just look like every other student/junior reel

surprised they are not using silhouette for that kind of stuff. Never found shake paint to be that great. Used to crash all the bloody time
