Rotoshape Help

While creating a polygon in the rotoshape tool, is there a modifer to restrict to a specific axis? The kind of thing that would be handy in creating shapes with right angles?

Check the PDF documentation for keyboard shortcuts and roto splines, CONTROL+LEFTCLICK on a handle will only move the selected one and not both.
