Thread: Adobe After Effects 6.0- help a beginner!?

I want to learn about special effects using Adobe After Effects 6.0, but I've heard it's too hard for beginners. Currently I am employed at web design company as a web developer but still I want to have a slice of this too and that I shouldn't just jump into the course without having watched any of previous AE tapes. What should I do to get caught up and understand the new course? And can I get any of the previous tapes online?

hi there. you can check www.videocopilot.net for AE tutorials. they are almost fool-proof. just try sharpening your skills there

creativecow sells a great dvd for after effects, I find AE fairly easy because the layout is almost exactly the same as photoshop.
