    heh my teacher was at core a while back. he's always talking well about that company but recommended i look for start-ups moreso because thats when they hire more people (and a larger number of out of school-ers)

    id be also guessing that 40k is the good "middleground" for a compositor out of school..maybe 45k in a good company. if its rotoscoping itll probably be 35k+.

    Like you said though. apartment prices arent as huge as in NY or anything..but not cheap either.

    I think iMax is also a good company to look at as a startup in toronto.

    m 2 months old 2 VFX..can anyone plz guide me as to how to make a show reel
    or wat should be d concept initially...??

    no offense bu with 2 months experience i doubt there IS much to show yet

    take a look in the gallery section lots of reel to get inspired.
