We're proud to present another Fusion tutorial. Recorded in HD, with high quality sound... and ow yeah, did we mention it's free?

    It can be found here:
    www.pigsfly.com

    or at:
    http://users.pandora.be/Lightwaverz/...utorial03.html

We'll guide you trough how to create flies in 3D, animate them using expressions and modifiers, track some footage with boujou and import the data of the camerasolve into Fusion to matchmove the flies and line them up using the pointcloud of the 3D tracker.

    Enjoy!

I'm sure some people would of liked to see you orient the ground plane as well, just a thought

    I agree, nrgy.
I might as well tell this now: the reason I chose to not cover this now is because the next tutorial will be about tracking specifically. We'll be targeting the scenes that aren't useful after the standard solve. Orientation, constraints will be the bare beginning. The main focus will be on: improving tracks, extending solves, solve with manual keyframes... in short: solve shots that gave us headaches in the past.

For now, a standard solve will orient the scene correctly.

As a sidenote: I'm waiting on clearance of some footage for the next tutorial. If you guys have footage that's hard to track, or footage you'd like to see tracked, but it seems to fail, drop me a PM, i'd like to hear about it, so we can cover your issue in our footage.
