    Hello everyone,

Well, it has been a while since I've posted here but it has been a very busy time. Currently I'm working on a new 2D animated feature and the pressure is on!

I have one quick question about Combustion. How do you lock a layer so you can't select it anymore ( like you can in After Effects ). Now I have to place the layers with some hardcore numerical editing, but this slows me down a lot! Is it possible to locj certain layers so I can just use the Move tool in the Comp viewer?

    Cheers!

    Yeah,

I've contacted the helpdesk yesterday and they told me the same thing. I've told them that because that issue, the whole production was slowing down. And that is the truth! I spend most of the time trying to select and move layers.

    Bummer!

Why don't you select them directly from the list in the Workspace? Or from the Node view...

well what if your say split view (2 viewers) and going back and forth ebtween them to say, have one be your roto window and one be you comp view, use an AB compare in the comp view so your always slapping the pen down in that window and you accidently select a laer w/o realizing and it can throw you off like 2 days later looking at the final comp
