we used 3ds max to make the crowds with 3 levels of details according to Cameras distance from the crowds

I used After Burn and Particles Flow to create Dust and Particles almost every shot has Particles and dust

we had Huge Tracking Issues Because when they were filming they Didn't make any preparations for the tracking process and to make

things worst they Filmed in 35mm then cropped Not Resizing the Picture to PAL Format with that we lost most of the Lens distortion data Plus we didn't have any Information about the lenses they Used to film with plus cameras Locations etc ...
Good stuff and as always you have to do "IT RIGHT" right ?

It was very difficult Project and I hope you like it !! .

The links are not working, but the images seems great!

In you first shoot with the running people, to create a foreground plate, did you use keying and/or rotoing?
