What am I being dumb about?

    I make a Constant. I drag sliders to H=.5 S=1 V=.5. A turquiose sort of color.

When I use the color picker in the viewer, I'm seeing H=181, S=1, V=.74 as my sample data.

So how does .500 in my slider relate to H=181 in the viewer? And why is the value higher by .3?

    thanks in advance!

one is a normalized value (min =0, max =1) while the other one is degrees. So width 360 being the maximum rotation in a circle (colour wheel), 180 is half way == ~.5

Thanks rueter! Makes sense now... would be nice to have consistent values for color matching....
