Heyah, that's more like it! I'm loving the billowing smoke, not minding the scale of the fire or smoke, but think an overall grade would help integrate the fire. At the moment it kind o looks like a controlled forest fire on a cool winters morning, as opposed to a raging summer fire burning up the dry forest. I'd point you back to the reference clips for examples of what fire and smoke do to the atmospheric conditions. If there's one thing we Australian's do well, its a good bush fire. (that and thongs)
check the updates. let me know what do u think of it.

I like the fire sim feels immense but the integration into the plate still needs work also need to be more smokey all over if you are that close and possible see spark embers flying up as well. I would ahve to agree that a overall grade would help as well.
Thanks. I will try to accomplish those tasks. Can you further elaborate about how can i integrate more with the plate..e.g color integration? I am using after effects, can you tell me which tool will be suitable.
I played with myself a little, the biggest thing is that the sky and smoke are very different look at how the smoke affects the sky in the youtube video, then grade the comp with either a curves or levels or color balance, if you can manage heat distortaion if not slight blur on the flame and final remove the grain from the plate and and add grain to the whole thing. See if something like that make the if you could also mange to render the smoke in way to layer progressively, (I know DD's Storm allow for this type of control, never got a shader to do this successful (a normal render almost does sit but it not the same)) might see what I'm talking about by watching the Motorola PEBL ad by DD (Commercial-->Behind The Scenes) and reading this thread
hey junaid....really nice sims...first i would say tht the depth of cg-smoke doesnt seem to match according to the scene (i dont know if any one else noticed it)...but the smoke looks more closer to the camera as compared to the trees. Also if possible try to give more volume to the smoke so as it looks like really dense something close to a pyroclastic flow. And about integrating stuff i would say try to get an overall atmosphere effect and then play with levels for the fire and smoke(smoke needs to be more black). I guess lowering the contrast would help.
Please keep updating.....
